Einjährige Berufsfachschule 1

Students with a degree "Hauptschulabschluss" (9th grade) are admitted into Berufsfachschule 1. This course lasts 1 year full-time and it includes 2 internships of each several weeks in various professional fields.

Through the various internships and participation in seminars, students receive basic career orientation and preparation.

This entitles the students to attend the upper level of the commercial school (BFS 2) and thus the possibility of obtaining the Fachoberschulreife (Qualification for higher vocational training) after one additional year.
